Rules
Trubritar forums have grown amazingly over the past few months, we thank all of you for being a part of this growing community. In order to keep the forums running smoothly and to prevent any kind of problems, please follow these simple rules for the forums here. If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to contact one of are Moderators or Admins.
General Rules
• While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.
• Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such.
• Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.
• Advertising, spamming and trolling is strictly not allowed. This includes using the forum, email, picture comments and private message systems to spam other members.
• Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts. Use 12 hours as a guideline.
• We also do not allow posts or links to sites that are sexual in nature or violate the Trubritar community standards. The Trubritar team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards and may change without notice.
• Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.
• Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed. Any members found to be doing this will have there IP range blocked / banned.
• We reserve the right to remove offensive or inappropriate posts without notice and without the posters approval.
• Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
• We also reserve the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates the forum rules.
Advertising Services and Solicitation
We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages or emails to users here that advertise or solicit any products, services, funds or donations. Explicit advertising and solicitating in signatures is also prohibited.
Links in signatures must follow these guidelines
Linking to a commercial product/service is fine, provided it is not a product or service that competes with are forum. A link and promotional text for a site that is not commercial and does not contain product(s) and/or service(s) is allowed, provided the site is not sexual or does not violate the Trubritar Forums community standards. The Trubritar team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards. (Examples include sites about drugs and/or sex.)
Signature and Avatar Size Limits
Staying within the guide lines below will make the forums display correctly and help page loading times for those on slower connections.
All signatures should not exceed the following size limits: 550 x 170 Pixels and should not have any animated images.
If you don't have an image as your signature then a maximum of 9 lines of text are allowed.
All avatars should not exceed the following size limits: 100 x 100 Pixels no more than 40kb.
Moderation
Although the administrators and moderators of the Trubritar Community Forum will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages.
By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.
The Staff Members of the Trubritar's Forum reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.
Staff Disputes
Any disputes with the staff of the Trubritar Community Forums will be handled in private through the Private Message System or Email.
Addendum
We reserve the right to update and modify these rules as the needs of the community dictate to ensure the smooth operation of this community.
The above rules are enforced on this forum, you must comply with these rules to be able to be an active member of the community.
The Trubritar Forums Staff on here are an easy going crew, we really don't want to start banning people, but anyone found breaking the above rules will be warned/banned appropriately!
