I have an HAF-X for my setup and it keeps my 580s below 80C in most applications and that's in a hot country like mine(only Afterburner and OCCT takes it higher but in my experience not over 83C for the hotter GPU) ;)

Also, the last time I read a tweaktown case review, according to them HAF-X provided the best GPU air-cooling and DF-85 the best CPU air-cooling).

Haf_X offers a cheap solution for multigpu. The Raven 2-3 and Fort02 don't suit more than 3 480's 580's and work best with 2 cards. With dual SLI or CF including 6990-590 they are untouchable for air cooling. Raven 3 also offers front intake options that could exceed even the FT02 if you add extra fans. but they are limited with mobo size and amount of GPU's. Silverstone made the TJ11 for 4x 480 etc and that is untouchable but with a large price tag.

Most gamers (well 99.5%) don't go past 2x GPU's hence I'm very happy to recommend the RV03 as chap and effective for multi GPU a high SB 2500-2600k OC and a PCIE SSD and space for some other SSD'S and or HDDs.

So yes if you bought a TJ11 you might find your at 70-75c with same fans settings DB noise but you can ask do I need to spend an extra $200-300 on a case beyond the HAF-X. And you can with the Haf-x run a H20 loop for all your 580's and get them down to 50c max. But as ever the Haf-X still has a place for many users who don't want to spend an extra $500 on H20 or a TJ11.

But with 28nm promising lower heat we may find 2x 7990 or 690's in 2012 run at 75c and 2-3x 680's or 7970's at 60c even on O2 in a £100 Raven 3 next year.

So Cooler master and corsair need to make something as good as the Rv03 for the same price by 2012.

Larry I get what you mean, but it is not only intake, but also exhaust that matters. The HAF series provides great exausts.

I built my brother a system on a HAF-912, and at that price (Rs.5500 INR), I have yet to come across a better cooling case.

For a mid range setup nobody gets 2 GPUs. Over here is is difficult to fit even a single GTX 580 at a $1800 budget.
Anyone wants an unregistered 3DMark 11 key (I have an extra) and two oldies: Red Faction 1, 2 on steam (I have gifts lying around in my account)?
Note these arent freebies. I want PCMark 7 (will give 3D Mark 11 first so that you can avail a discount).

True that!

The exhaust on the Raven-Fort series is about 2-3x more than the haf's. Until the Rav3 the haf's were much cheaper, that has now changed.

Trust me when I say for 02 and front intake and rear exhaust cards the silverstone cases cant' be beaten. The haf series especially the X need the side fan to compete and then they are much more effort to clean all those dust filters and tend to rattle more. I'm still not a fan of silverstones drive bays being plastic but that was pretty much the only flaw on the RV02-FT02.

What you can't see is the turbulance and how the air pressure works in most cases vs the silverstone ones, that's actually their best kept secret and also why some of the new GPU fans work much better than others (Yes the Asus mars 2 can move 600% more air than a stock 590, with just one more fan, it can and the secret is about turbulance.) The secret of RV02-03 and FT02 is not just the mobo inversion but also the way air channels through the case and behind it and that the SS fan use Air pressure not just RPM.

For one GPU and one CPU I 100% recommend the RV03 over any case under about $400.
