im prepping for an x68 build trying to gather as much info and product i can for the time being. Im looking for some information on sub ambient cooling. I was told there is away to integrate it into your water loop.In this so i could cool the motherboard cpu and 3 gpus. With all that said are they really custom quiet units? If so whom do i contact for pricing and further information?

I really don't know if there's a setup possible to tell ya the truth. If you want to go low with them GPUs you need a chiller. Those things are noisy and you'd need isolation. If you only SS cool your CPU with a costom SS (like LittleDevil's) you're somewhat quiet but I'd not call that silent.
It's just really hard to have the cooling performance that you need plus the low noise that you want...

Are you willing to mod and build somethings yourself?

Well there are people who use an old radiator out of a car to cool their entire rig. Just an idea for ya...

Personally I can't see that system in a case. And I can't see it beeing cooled properly with low noise.

What your options are, is a LittleDevil PC-V10 case with SS cooling (about 1000 €) without shipping, and then you have room at the top for a 480 radiator for them GPUs...
But that's as good as it can get. I don't see any other SS or chiller solution worth your wile. Chillers are noisy bastards too and the isolation of graphic cards simply sucks...

If i sacked alittle performance for less noise do you think its possible to for near silence with alot of insulation? say if i ran it at 0*C instead of negative w/e.. either way whom do i contact

There are sdumper an NoL, and i bet ron could also make one. I personally would go with sdumper.

The problem you have is not the fans or anything like that it's the chiller itself. It makes a noise like your fridge in your kitchen.
Therefore a no noise system is just not possible to my knowledge with the kind of cooling performance you're looking for.

Personally I'd not cool the graphic cards sub ambient anyways. They're really hard to isolate properly, and I'm not convinced that can be done to a satisfactory level with 3-way SLI/CorssfireX.
I'd go with a custom SS cooling on the CPU then you can overclock it really massively and the CPU needs less VCore with lower temperatures to be stable... ;)

Here LittleDevil says the noise level of his SS cooling: http://www.xtremesys...26&postcount=98

Either way, I don't it is possible to keep a rig totally silent. It always makes some sort of noises. But hopefully other people know a solution for you.
Passive radiators might work, but you'd need many of them for CPU and 3 GPUs. Back to the car-radiator thing I told you before...

illl rephrase maybe not literal silent.. but extremely quiet :P... i talked to Sdumper... they have a version that is near silent but is around 1000USD+ shipping.

Really, sub ambient cooling is useless unless you want to break overclock records... Although if you want good temps and you live in a cold area, some people lead tubing out of the case and put their radiator in the garage.

Advanced custom water cooling setup>Drill one or two holes big enough for the water-antifreeze solution tubing though the outside of an freezer part of a refrigerator or better yet a stand alone type of freezer box with a flip up lid.
Route the tubing to the radiator that will be placed inside of the freezer -30 or so. Position radiator as close to the air discharge of freezer to blow on radiator.
The investment is low 1/5 of an custom SS unit or you may be lucky to find someone whom is discarding a good refrigerator or freezer for free.

A radiator is not needed in the above, a one gallon bucket placed in the freezer area half filled with a anti freeze solution used with a submersible pump connected to the tubing.

a rad would be nice to keep the liquid warm when idle...

Good point, Than drilling holes would not be needed.
This idea I have been tossing around in my head for some time as I have been working out the humid condensation foresight problem.
Than a notch of removal of material to accommodate the coolant tubing and pump power cord at the seal magnet of freezer/fridge so lid/door can be kept closed.
So as the removal of submersible pump and resivor bucket can be removed from freezer after extreme bench sessions when outside water humid condensation is a big problem during summer months or when not in use. Bucket and pump can also be moved to refrigerator area for normal over clocked gaming use.
