According to the little temp chart that's in the article, it's not too awefully impressive vs. other high end air coolers.

well, -20 off a stock cooler is nothing to shake a stick at.

I'm sure we'll get a better idea of perf with an independent review.

Dont expect to much. Trubs new position takes up much of his time. And currently hes participating in a search and rescue in Joplin Mo

SPECULATION : We might see a FTW edition soon that would most probably be a self-contained watercooling unit...

Actually I'd be more inclined to see a FTW edition that either has more heat pipes or dual fans...something along those lines. But, the standard edition is already $50. A FTW edition would have to be something real special to charge more for.

It wouldn't surprise me at all to see them offer a closed loop water system but I'm not sure who'd they partner with to make it. I'm kind of surprised they haven't headed more into the water cooling side of things.

the SSC version could be the one with more heat pipes and dual fans ;)
