Hi everyone!

My brother needs a laptop for university but i cant decide which one to buy. I cant decide between these:

http://www.1a.lv/dat...eme_gt/5888102/

Acer Aspire 5742G Xtreme GT is the most expensive and it has nvidia gpu. But i am wondering about built quality and maybe my brother doesnt need so good gpu because its for university and not for gaming. (Maybe just a little gaming like dod:s). And i am worried that it can get hot very fast.
5742 is almost the same but with better cpu but it has intel gma hd integrated gpu.
And the third one is toshiba. It has good cpu and good gpu.

I want that you can guys suggest me a good laptop with good quality that can live for atleast 4 years. The shops where i wil buy are:
http://www.1a.lv/dat...rtativiedatori/
http://www.verners24...x.php?l=1&c=121

I know they are not in English but i hope you will understand everything :)

P.S. I need your answers as soon as possible because i need to buy it tomorrow.

As long as you have 32nm I5 at 2.2 GHZ or I3 at 2.6 GHZ that's just about ok for most games (mobile CPU) and you MUST have a GT540M or better (560m) anything less than 100 cores mobile wise sucks, so loads of lappies have 310M or 320m nvidia gpus these are ok for media but can't even play COD4.

The acer below has a GT540m good card, the others have 310M or Intel HD which suck for anything beyond HL2. GT540m can cope with crysis 2 and dirt 3 as long as you adjust settings. And the CPU is a 32nm I3 2 cores with HT (so four threads)

Larry is absolutely right. I have a Sony Vaio normal edition. It can play COD4 at medium graphics. But idk MW2 doesnt run properly. I tried BC2 in DX11(i have ATI 5470 1GB, Core i3 2.3) I was like WTF?? LOL... i was getting 5-6 fps, So u better get GT540 or above :)

GT540m's 100 cores so basically around the level of a 9800GT 250GT so ok for 720p and little or no AA_AF . GT560m double the cores so can handle a bit more AA_AF and even with a 540 your gunna have to nerf settings in soem games to make playback fluid but the Intel GMA HD and Nvidia 310 and and most of the mobile cards under 100 nvidia cores or 300 AMD cores are for media and lite casual gaming not modern FPS RTS MMO stuff.
