Using my Corsair H70 with Aerocool Shark fans, I was able to keep my Oc'd 1100t at 45C running Prime95 for 30 minutes. This was with the fans running at approx 1700rpm. Anyone els get a result like this with their H70 or other H-Series coolers.

This was with the fans running at approx 800rpm. Running Prime95 for 30 minutes.

ALSO...I cannot seem to get the pictures posted correctly. I can only give the links. Any idea how I can get that to work anyone?

Welcome to the forums!

However, could you use a service like photobucket, or image shack where we do not need to log into a service to see it?

Thanks for the welcome. I had the pics on private and I just changed them to public. If you still have issues seeing them I will use another photo website. Thanks

Your temps are far too high with your fans on low, on the AM3's you want to keep your NB temp below 61C for maximum stability, the lower, the better.

Welcome to the forums :) And yea lord is right, the lower the NB temps the more stable ur system will be. And i guess 1700 is a little noisy :P

Thanks for looking at my temps and your input. Couple questions...the NB temp..is that labled as TMPIN2 in HWmonitor? That is the only one I see that is over 61c in the screen shot. I am reading 42c on TMPIN2 on idle (as I am typing this). The other temp in the picture was taken under full load. Is 42c on idle too high as well?

I agree Hacker...1700rpm is little loud. But since I game with my razer megladon, I dont hear anything but the game. So my fans are running max when I game but are all running 800-900rpm as I type this.

actually in your 800rpm run, your NB was pushing 70C (8 degress above TJ Max) AMD's do not had a thermal throttle feature, they just run till they blow.

Thanks Lord…I was not tracking that there was no thermal throttle. I will keep my eye on that and make sure my fans are running a little higher under load. I assume that since my H70 is "covering" my NB heaksink it is not helping situation.

there are two northbridges on the AMD Platform.

The Northbridge in the CPU, and the northbride on the board.

The one on the CPU is the one we are worried about.
