I disagree; I've got a HX series Corsair PSU, and it's a rock solid well performing PSU, so I can only imagine the CX series is going to be as good!

Thats the review of a 520w of the same series. The 620 is bound to be as good from wat the experts say. And more over the Seasonic has 48amps on the +12v rail vs 40 on the corsair

The only issue would be check the warrenties on the corsair vs the seasonic and also check out seasonics RMA quality as you may find a fault with seasonic leads to buying a new PSU where as Corsair have a rep for actually doing RMAs.
I tend to recommend Corsair, Gigabyte, MSi and Asus just from the fact those 4 all have Billion dollar plus turn overs and will be around for along time many other brands probably won't be, everything you buy that isn't made by those guys "beware!" as the PC component market is about to contract quite fast.
Asrock even with new owners* also troubles me as I have red so many issues with Asrock Bios from the past I consider them a toxic brand like XFX or creative imho. I would urge Asus, Msi or Gigabyte branded boards at all times for P67 and Z68.
*Asrock where 100% owned by Asus but did a IPO float. Even so there boards seem to carry an extra risk level that Asus branded boards have not been having, this seems to relate to Bios more than anything.

However I do have to agree 100% w/ larry on this one... Asrock IS Asus but they use Asus's "sub-par" components and less BIOS/UEFI features... think of it like the automotive industry...
Asrock=honda Asus=Acura
Asrock=volkswagon Asus=Audi/Lamborgini
Asrock=Chevy Asus=Cadilac
Asrock= Nissan Asus=Infinity
Asrock=Toyota Asus=Lexus
and so on....
Yes you may be able to get similar performance but it may be more difficult to achieve and service is compromised and/or happens more often.
I make any sense there??? It's 6am here lol
Hope this helps

newegg reviews are good on this product http://www.newegg.co...N82E16813157265
a review of its z68 brother which is about the same as the p67 but with z68 chipset http://www.vortez.ne..._review,13.html
another review of its brother from a german site http://translate.goo...review.html%2F7
cant find any reviews of the p67 one but it should be as good as the z68, so there you go, dont let the old asrock reputation fool you its definitely better nowdays!

I agree on the asrock part... First time i got it, it was DOA, second time, PCI-e Slot wasnt working 3rd time sound ports wer not working... I dont know abt the higher end model, but as far as RMA goes i always got on the desk replacement, but i had to travel 15 miles for that
And as far as seasonic goes.. it makes OEM for many popular brands and its PSU have a much less failure rate than most. And der RMA is smooth in INDIA... i guess it will be 10x better else where

Seasonic are one to check in your region then for RMA (My own PC guide warns to do a google-bing search and have a sniff around retail forums in your region to see Brands with issues).
You really don't want to have to RMA a PSU but its the one one part you can be really screwed if it fails and the RMA takes ages.

i mean they seem to be one of the best brands now in price/performance and you still think theyre as bad as they were YEARS ago?
i just cant take it when people cant like a product only because of its past. no offence meant to anyone

Well lets see if I can explain it like this. Most users will only build themselves a new rig on average every 3 yrs and some longer. So when you get burned by a product it leaves a bad taste in your mouth, and most people wont go back to get burned a second time. I did allot of budget builds on socket 775 Asrock mobos and had a high return rate and also a high rate of DOA boards. So I myself cant say anything bad about there current tech, just that I am unwilling to give it another go with them.

Its our mind that makes the decision mate. See for example, u might have had bad exp with some brand or the other, not only speaking of PC, but other goods too.... will u ever get something from the same brand? NO! Even if the reviews are great and very guy on the planet asks u to buy it, der is still a small part of ur brain and heart that doesnt allow u to do so....
Thats the same case with every one.
Hope u understand, No offense mate

yeah and there is no way Gigabyte, Asus ,MSI would blow up like that? no offence but i will stand with asrock because they are growing big time and are doing one of the best mobos on the market!
