But what would you do in this case?
Headphones+Amplifier
Audio Technica PRO700MK2 with Schiit Asgard Headphones Amplifier
SSD:
Undecided atm but two 60GB ones at RAID 0. Hopefully two Vertex 3s or Force 3s.
Note these arent freebies. I want PCMark 7 (will give 3D Mark 11 first so that you can avail a discount).

I also need an amp because my CrapPod touch (pre iphone 4S) cannot drive it to the fullest.

SSDs are nice but not really necessary as far as I'm concerned. Larry is going to reject that opinion of mine, but that's how I feel...
I'd save the money or get a bigger monitor or something. You have a very fast setup, you could go with something different...

The LOD's for the ipod give a decent signal  Which amp are you looking at? What is the driver impedance on those senn's?

My 558s do not show that distortion in my old HiFi setup, which does not dock a crapPod to it.
Hooks, I want the Audio Technica phones for their portability(closed cans) and unparalleled bass power. The amp is to improve the sound on my Sennheisers.

The HD 558's are really nice an the improvement with the amp will be minor.
I'd say get the SSDs as you'll actually be able to feel a difference. Once you've gone SSD you'll never want to go back. Every main machine I have bar one has atleast one SSD in
Tbh you could just get one SSD and buy some new headphones as well

They are very fast the key thing is enough room for your OS and some games, the benefit of SSD is most felt on MMO's and the OS and any games which streams data (RAGE being a massive example). Now raid-revo etc is all fab but the key thing is size as game are getting big so my best advice is something super fast for the OS (and only the OS) as the Os does all the wear and tear as well! So I still recommend a vertex 2 or better 60GB for Win7 only and then 120-480 GB of SSD of apps and games and everything else you can always add a 1-2TB HDD for storage for media.
With stuff like Steam on a revo or raid SSD's and not the os, it makes changing your OS or even a reinstall a 15 min job if you have it on a seperate SSD. Also buy having a single drive power the OS this lets TRIM work very well or garbage collection on most SSD's work best then on the larger raid or revo drives as well as the single drive.
A 60GB ssd for OS and 120-240GB SSD or SSD's for apps and games often costs less than a high end GPU.
Note: quite a few of my SSD are 2 years old, (I have 12 SSD drives) not one at home has failed and all are as fast as the day I bought them. Letting TRIM run windows and garbage collection control Raid has done me alot of favours using sandforce drives.
