hello gents,
after an hour searching on the net i finally drop on our beloved forum
here I'm looking for a Proxy/Tunnel that reduce my in-game latency, I'm playing from south pacific where most of the ping is 500+ms, so I'd like to cute this to an half

is there any person whom actually use that kind of service. free of charge of course.

Starcraft2 is the major game i play; sometime i can connect finding a mate (matchmaking system) but cant play with him ... this ends to a "rage quit" and a rank lost.
extremely frustrating.

well thanks for help (if any)

Unless your ISP is severely throttling you a VPN/proxy/tunnel will really only add latancy. If you are trying to play against people across the world the a 500ms ping is quite possible.

Most of the free tunnels are shocking anyway - this is one of those cases where you don't get anything for free. You dont know what the tunnel host is logging. They could quite easily steal your passwords and stuff.

I personally use a paid for VPN service all the time here and when gaming I probably get an extra 3-5 ms latancy added to my connection which is very good. Only in very rare cases will using a VPN result in a lower ping and that is generally when the ISP is either useless or imploys terrible amounts of throttling.

I'd have a look at a better ISP first or play with more local people.
