hey everyone.

2 months back. i bought my second OCZ Vertex 3 240GB.
since a few weeks ago. i was getting lots of stuttering and freezing issues. but they only happen randomly.
i know for certain it couldn't be hardware related. so i tried to google around. and it seems the OCZ vertex 3 might be causing this. i can play games for hours without a issue. no blue screen whatsover. but if browse the internet etc. suddenly, my PC acts up weird. programs refuse to open and windows stop functioning properly.

so i decided to check the drives for errors. but it says there's none.
so my last thing was to reinstall windows. but the problems didn't went away. it was the same result again.
should i RMA my drives. i think they are both acting up. i will try to install windows on my HDD. and see if that is fixing the problem.

i don't run RAID. and i have AHCI enabled in Bios. i even put my CPU to stock settings. but it didn't fix it. i also did a memtest. no errors.

i hope someone can help me out what to do. because this is getting on my nerves...

well the first OCZ vertex 3 was bought after the release date. the second in mid October. which is the max iops. but even that one is giving me issues. i should probably RMA them both. because this is really annoying me.

i currently use my laptop for now. because i simply don't trust my PC...

I would initiate an RMA ASAP....

i just downloaded the toolbox from OCZ. i saw that my first drive is running the 2.02 firmwire. and the second one 2.08.
perhaps updating them will fix the issue. and than i will test them again if they show up any errors etc. if they are still there. i would RMA them.

i will keep you guys posted.
