I'm think of getting a new case and so I am looking for recommendations. I want a mid-tower for under, or as close to, $100. My only concern is cooling so I just want the case with the best possible cooling for that price. Two of the cases I have in mind are the NZXT Guardian 921RB and the Coolermaster 690ii Advanced. Anyhow any knowledge of the superior of the two and so worth would be great. Cheers

I would go with the CM HAF 912 Advanced or the NZXT Lexa

Look at Fractal Design cases if you can, I built my friend's rig with a CM 690ii basic and it was quite good for it's price.

What are you looking for, performance, silence or functionality?

CM usually build fairly well featured cases.
If you want something cleaner you can go for Fractal Design or w/e.
The 690 is a safe bet.

For a bit extra (although the looks are an aquired taste) the Raven 3 is impossible to beat IF you use mid-to-large GPU's that intake air at the front and exhaust at the rear.

At that price point, I would recommend Cooler Master's Storm Scout. I used it in a build recently and it's a heck of a case considering that it only costs $80 USD. It has a fully painted interior (jet black) and excellent aesthetics overall. Even the I/O panel at the top features a brushed aluminum finish. It ships with three quiet case fans ( with red LED's that can be shut off if you like), but it has room for a few more. Notably, there's mounting holes for two optional 120mm fans on the side panel. If you buy 4-pin red LED fans, you can control the LED's with the switch that's built into the I/O panel.

For the price, I don't think you can get much better than the Scout.
